The horizontal transitions are indicative of emptiness. I often associate horizontal transitions with death and melancholia. HORIZONTAL LINES are the most destructive lines in a painting.Adrian Mendizabalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02627346620368062069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12690266.post-66573693718809623632009-07-19T02:09:02.035-04:002009-07-19T02:09:02.035-04:00Should have done this earlier, but put in a link e...Should have done this earlier, but put in a link explaining what I and my evil twin brother meant.Noel Verahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05904212081036547668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12690266.post-81220174977293071072009-07-19T01:42:25.543-04:002009-07-19T01:42:25.543-04:00A bit of clarification for readers of this review:...A bit of clarification for readers of this review: I assume that Noel is talking about bottles we saw when we visited Taiwan in our childhood days. Craftsmen were painting pictures INSIDE dainty little bottles, passing their brushes through the narrow necks of bottles to paint miniature scenes. The idea is the painting is inside where it won't get rubbed off, but the execution looked fiendishly difficult and precise to pull off.Quentin Tarantadohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08091214116015175705noreply@blogger.com
