As is, I think it needed some kind of creative transition between the strawberries and the bombing footage. Not necessarily falling strawberries.Noel Verahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05904212081036547668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12690266.post-49708905512103820692008-03-17T13:04:00.000-04:002008-03-17T13:04:00.000-04:00It's a bit of a mess, I agree, Noel. And there are more than a few moments of emotional transcendence, I thought. It's easy to pin it on the songs but considering that some of these songs have been leeched of any of their force by overfamiliarity and yet it's in the most overfamilair numbers - - -Let It Be, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, the aforementioned Girl and Strawberry Fields - - - that the film actually lifts, I guess you gotta hand it to Taymor. I was never a fan but this,I thoroughly enjoyed watching.dodo dayaohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08287196617019639716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12690266.post-34423679757370196542008-03-13T16:55:00.000-04:002008-03-13T16:55:00.000-04:00I liked it.
