Not to mention the fact that one of their own is caught by the police, and it doesn't occur to even one of them that the guy might rat on their hideout. I'd say Pasiyam, Gagamboy and his often wobbly but fun remake/sequel to Pedro Penduko are probably the Mattis I like best. Ekis had its share of Ok bits but that silly swimming pool sequence ruined it for me.dodo dayaohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08287196617019639716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12690266.post-5539539412102421562007-09-02T01:53:00.000-04:002007-09-02T01:53:00.000-04:00I love that house.Really, his best? I hope to watch that this week.Noel Verahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05904212081036547668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12690266.post-51536678512728086522007-09-01T10:33:00.000-04:002007-09-01T10:33:00.000-04:00Agree, Noel. When I first saw this, though, I thought the climax was a little . . .eh? But in hindsight ,the notion of a domineering matriarch coming back from the dead to scold her children was . . .kinda cool. My favorite bits were Roderick's Blair Witch moment (the way the camera subtly swivels so we see just an ominous glimpse of the scars on his back), the whole espiritista monologue . . .and that house.dodo dayaohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08287196617019639716noreply@blogger.com
